St. Bartholomew the Apostle has a beautiful Saint Pope John Paul II Remembrance Wall to honor and memorialize your loved ones by burning an electric candle in their memory for a period of one year. The wall is designed to provide comfort, serenity and prayerful reflection. Remembrance candles have been used for centuries to help those who have lost a loved one through a particular anniversary, holiday or other special dates, and to keep their memories near. With your annual offering of $185, a small, brass plaque displaying the name of your loved one will be mounted underneath the candle, which will stay lit 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
"The goal and target of our life is He,
the Christ who awaits us-
each one singly and altogether
to lead us across the boundaries of time
to the eternal embrace of the God who loves us."
Saint Pope John Paul II
The minimum Annual Offering for one candle is $185.00
Remembrance Year to run from the date the Memorial plaque is installed-for one year thereafter.
