Advent is a season to turn our hearts toward what is most important - Especially in this season that the things of the world demand our attention, activities aplenty crowd our schedules, and our priorities get muddled in the stress, demands and frenzy of Christmas preparations, God invites us to slow down and to receive the gift of his peace and presence in our lives. As we journey through Advent toward Christmas, we invite you to our community for worship, prayer and fellowship - to make time for God and to welcome his peace and presence. Whether you are a parishioner or seeking a parish community to call home, we welcome you to St. Bartholomew! Keep scrolling for a full list of Advent offerings and events here at St. Bartholomew. We hope to see you!
Christmas Eve
Sunday, December 24th
Christmas Day
Monday, December 25th
This year, the Fourth Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve fall on the same day! What's the deal with that? We are invited to celebrate the fullness of the Advent season by attending both the Fourth Sunday of Advent as well as Christmas Mass. Here’s a chart to help us plan for those two days!
We are partnering with Hallow, the #1 Catholic prayer app to give you access to their full library of audio-guided sessions, including prayers, Bible readings, meditations, content for kids, night prayers, and much more to support peace and connection with God throughout Advent. Join the Pray25 Advent Challenge, with reflections from the writings of C.S. Lewis narrated by Liam Neeson.
Parishioners may participate in this great opportunity for full access until Easter for just $1!
