Through the Emmaus Family Formation program for Pre-K through 6th grade, we look to walk with your entire family on the journey of faith. We seek to foster an encounter with God, connect you with other families, and empower you with skills to strengthen your family life. One of the most important lessons that these past few years have emphasized is the importance of family in the handing on and building of faith. Emmaus Family Formation seeks to do just that for the St. Bartholomew Community!
Children's Liturgy allows 6 to 9-year-olds during the 10:30AM Mass to encounter Jesus through the Word of God. The Sunday Mass readings of the day are read and a team of teachers lead music, activities and discussions that guide children in receiving and understanding the Word of God. No registration is necessary - children are called forward at Mass after the opening prayer.
Pray and Play is a wonderful experience for preschoolers (ages 3-5) and kindergartners. Children should be dropped off in the Aftercare Room, on the lower level of the Church, just prior to the 10:30AM Mass. Here they will engage in fun activities and hear the Gospel at their level of understanding. They should be picked up immediately following Mass. No registration required. Come see what we are all about!
To encourage and support the St. Bartholomew the Apostle families with young children to grow in their faith, connect with the parish, and help parents in their vocation. Young family life comes with many challenges, including keeping the kids occupied throughout the day, so why not pass the time together - we are all in the same boat!
Events are geared toward families with children six and younger, but all families (young and old) are welcome to join! We also support parish wide events with activities for children.
