Mrs. Krema is the Pastoral Associate for Divine Liturgy and Adult Faith Formation. Her work at St. Bartholomew Parish includes serving as the director of the RCIA process, working with families preparing for funerals, baptisms and weddings, liturgy preparation for Masses, prayer services and retreats, facilitating scripture studies, and directing adult faith formation programming.
In addition to parish ministry work, Mrs. Krema is currently serving as a mentor in the Echo Apprentice Program at Notre Dame University’s McGrath Institute for Church Life.
Mrs. Krema joined the St. Bartholomew pastoral staff in 2005 and served nine years as the Confirmation Director. She also worked with the Archdiocesan Worship Office on the editorial board of the Word On Worship publication and has assisted at the Cathedral Basilica with RCIA Rites and Priest Ordination Masses. Prior to ministry work, she worked in Chicago as a biologist monitoring Great Lakes water quality, was a research and teaching assistant at the University of Michigan Biological Station, taught high school biology, and middle school math and science.
Mrs. Krema has an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry (Caldwell University), M.S. in Biology (Loyola University of Chicago), and a B.S. in Secondary Education (Bowling Green State University).
